Whoa—These Grammy Beauty Looks Are the Epitome of Glam 

If there’s one thing we’ve come to expect from the Grammy Awards, it’s killer hair and makeup. This isn’t the Oscars. It’s not the Golden Globes. This is when musicians and celebs go all out. Grammys beauty for 2020 is no different. There’s no subtle no-makeup makeup here—just bold, look-at-me beauty. And we live for it.

Grammy beauty is always pretty iconic. One just has to think back to Adele’s flipped-out blonde lob and major cat eyes back in 2012 or Beyoncé’s crimped caramel-colored hair and bronze eyeshadow in 2017. Or, we can go even further back to before most of us remember (or were alive). There was Selena’s iconic red lip in 1994 and Jada Pinkett-Smith’s bleached buzzcut in 1998. And who can forget Jennifer Lopez in 2000 with green eyeshadow matching her plunging green dress? Not us.

Who knows what will end up being as iconic this year but we’re lucky to have stars such as Lizzo, Billie Eilish and Lady Gaga who always bring it and inspire our next Sephora run. Thanks to Lizzo, we already have metallic shadow on our minds. See all our faves from this year, below.

The top model looked positively stunning in bone straight hair and an ultra-thick cat-eye. The country crooner is very on-trend with shimmery pink eyeshadow. Hairstylist Ryan Richman styled her new bob with ultra-affordable Suave hair products, including Suave Professionals Hairspray Flexible Control Finishing ($2.94 at Walmart).

Lizzo

Lizzo’s makeup is bronze and beautiful with natural lips and flawless skin. Makeup artist Alexx Mayo tagged some favorites in his Instagram. He prepped her skin with Versed Baby Cheeks All-in-One Hydrating Milk ($17.99 at Target) and Skin Soak Rich Moisture Cream ($17.99 at Target). He also showed when he removed Lizzo’s “peach fuzz and dead skin” with Dermaflash ($199 at Sephora). For her makeup, he used Urban Decay, of course. I spot the Naked Honey ($49 at Sephora) and Reloaded palettes ($44 at Sephora), Sparkle Out Loud Heavy Metal Glitter ($22 at Ulta) and Stay Naked Foundation ($39 at Sephora). For her glam lashes, he used Kiss Lash Couture Luxtensions Collection in Velvet ($7.99 at CVS).

The Grammy winner stuck with a minimalist palette, opting for her naturally wavy hair and perfectly groomed brows. “For Rosalia’s look tonight, we wanted to create a look that was true to who she is – the ultimate cool girl. We kept it simple with a lot of wavy texture and shine,” said hairstylist Jesus Guerrero in a statement. He used OGX hair products to complete the look, including OGX Shine + Argan Oil of Morocco Dry Oil Conditioning Mist ($6.99 at Target). He gave her loose waves with the ghd Platinum+ Professional Performance 1″ Styler ($249 at Sephora).
